WHAT THE FORM
The Girolle is a charming little invention for cutting the Tête du Moine, a cheese made in the region of the swiss city of Berne. I adopted its principle for a soap dispenser. By turning the crank with a certain pressure, the machine creates a curl of soap that is just enough for one single hand-washing. Shown at Designers Saturday 2012 in Langenthal and in the 2013 Design Biennale in Saint Etienne.
